Aloha and welcome! If you are looking for a family friendly destination to grab the perfect gift/snack and would like to learn more about the macadamia nut industry, we got you covered! Come by and make a stop at the Hāmākua Macadamia Nut Company Visitor Center!

The Hāmākua Macadamia Nut Company Visitor Center has been open for 18 years and is located at our facility in Kawaihae. This facility is where we bring all of the macadamia nuts that we harvest, from approximately 1,500 acres across the Big Island.

While at the Visitor Center, you can also get a behind-the-scenes look at our cannery through our viewing gallery. The best times to catch our team in action are on weekdays!

We sell a variety of products in our Visitor Center from our macadamia nuts (14 different flavors!) to Tropical Dreams ice cream (with our macadamia nuts in it!) to coffee from Kaʻū Coffee Mill and much more!

We are open daily from 9:00am – 4:30pm, located in Kawaihae, which is a quick drive from the places listed below!
