Janitorial Worker

Position Overview

The Janitor will perform and document routine cleaning duties in the buildings and general grounds. Example of some duties include cleaning restrooms, floors, walls, windows and removing trash. The Janitor will report to the Maintenance Manager.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Service, clean and supply (4) restrooms in main factory; performed 2x per day

• Service, clean and supply (2) restrooms in the Visitor Center; performed 2x per day

• Gather and empty trash

• Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuum

• Follow proper procedures for use of chemical cleaners

• Clean Admin Offices and (2) restrooms performed 1x per day

• Document completed Tasks as assigned by “Janitor’s Checklist”

• Assist with Pest Control Program

• Checklist will be provided at time of employment

• Any other duties as requested by a supervisor/manager

Requirements

• Must have the ability to read, analyze and write to effectively. Report any issues to management.

• Must be able to occasionally reach/lift and or move up to 50 pounds.

• Required to walk constantly, stand and lift.

• Ability to cooperate and follow instructions with other departments to provide a clean and healthy environment.
